Fall is in the air and tournament action is heavy everywhere. Welcome to the PocketFives October Live Tournament Preview presented by TourneyTracks.com. Let’s take a look and see what’s on deck.

East

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut (pictured) hosts its Indian Summer Classic from October 3 to 9. This small series offers four events with buy-ins from $250 to $550. It should be a good way to start off the month.

Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut closes the month out with the World Poker Finals from October 20 to November 4. The series consists of 21 events with buy-ins from $300 to $2,700. There will be a variety of formats offered and some decent guarantees. There should be lots of action.

Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania provides another installment of its popular Big Stax series from October 3 to 14. This time, there will be a $330 event with a $150,000 guarantee and a $1,080 event with a $250,000 guarantee.

Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, New York is holding the October Pokerfest series from October 7 to 15. It will offer nine tournaments with buy-ins from $75 to $300, which will be good for smaller bankrolls. There are even two Crazy Pineapple tournaments for those looking for a little twist to Hold’em.

West

California has a couple of tournament series finishing up this month. First, the Heartland Poker Tour continues its first stop at the Club One Casino in Fresno, California through October 6. The $1,650 Main Event starts on October 4.

Then, the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California (pictured) also finishes Big Poker October on October 15. About 15 events remain in October, including the $550 Main Event, which carries a $200,000 guarantee.

The Pacific Northwest has three series this month. First, the West Coast Poker Championship continues at the Edgewater Casino in Vancouver until October 6. The $2,200 Main Event starts on October 3 and has two Day 1 flights.

Next, Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon hosts the Deep Stacks Poker Tour with the Oregon State Poker Championships from October 27 to November 4. The series offers 14 events with buy-ins from $75 to $1,100.

Near Vancouver, the World Series of Poker Circuit stops at the River Rock Casino from October 28 to November 8. There will be the standard 12 ring events with buy-ins from $365 to $1,675.

The Wynn Fall Classic returns to the Wynn in Las Vegas from October 11 to 29 with 11 events that have buy-ins from $330 to $1,600. Six of the events offer multiple Day 1 flights and three have a $250,000 guarantee.

Also in Las Vegas, Caesars Palace hosts the Caesars Palace Poker Classic from October 18 to November 4. The series boasts 34 events with buy-ins from $130 to $1,080. There are a couple of PLO events sprinkled in with the Hold’em tournaments.

Elsewhere in Nevada, the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno is hosting its Fall Pot of Gold series from October 3 to 13. There will be 17 events with buy-ins from $120 to $400. It looks like a series designed for the low roller.

Finally, the WSOP Circuit stops at Harveys Lake Tahoe from October 24 to November 4. There are 12 ring events and 15 non-ring events with buy-ins ranging from $135 to $1,675.

Central

The Fall Poker Series continues at the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma (pictured) until October 7. Fourteen events remain in October, including the $1,100 Main Event.

The Fall Poker Classic, Minnesota’s largest tournament series, returns to Canterbury Park in Shakopee from October 5 to 21. This year’s series will feature 27 events with buy-ins from $120 to $1,100, including HORSE, Seven-Card Stud, and PLO. It is also kicking off with a screening of “Bet Raise Fold” on October 4.

The Riverside Casino and Golf Resort in Riverside, Iowa is hosting Iowa’s Fallout Poker Championship, a $1,010 tournament with a $100,000 guarantee.

The World Series of Poker Circuit makes two stops in Indiana in October. First, the Horseshoe Southern Indiana in Elizabeth hosts the Circuit from October 3 to 14. Then, the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond hosts the Circuit from October 17 to 28. Both stops offer 12 ring events with buy-ins from $365 to $1,675 and several non-ring events.

The Heartland Poker Tour has three stops in the central states. First, the Indigo Sky Casino in Wyandotte, Oklahoma hosts the HPT from October 10 to 21. There will be six smaller events in addition to the $1,650 televised Main Event. Next, the HPT returns to Prairie Meadows in Altoona, Iowa from October 18 to 27. Lastly, the HPT stops at Belterra in Florence, Indiana from October 25 to November 4.

The Mid-States Poker Tour returns to the Meskwaki Bingo Casino in Tama, Iowa from October 26 to November 3. There will be two bonus events in addition to the $1,100 Main Event.

South

The Players Poker Championship is holding the Aruba PPC series at the Radisson Aruba Resort from October 2 to 9. The series offers nine events with buy-ins from $200 to $2,250 and takes place on a luxurious island (pictured).

The Isle Casino in Pompano Park, Florida hosts the Isle Poker Open from October 3 to 30. This is one of Florida’s largest series and it features 36 events with buy-ins from $65 to $2,500.

The Heartland Poker Tour stops at the Daytona Beach Kennel Club from October 4 to 14. Finally, the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek, Florida hosts the Fall Poker Open from October 23 to November 3, a World Poker Tour regional event. The series features 12 tournaments with buy-ins from $65 to $500.
