Lebanon’s leading online poker tournament player Nicolas nicccChouity will commence his climb back into the Top 1,000 Worldwide Rankings this coming week. Nicolas won the Stars Sunday 500 for $65,500 after negotiating a three-way deal. Fellow member OMGitshunt of Belarus (ranked #176 worldwide) finished 4th in that event for $33,357 and could very well make it back into the Top 100 as a result.
United Kingdom’s pvas2 earned the largest payday in the Stars $100 Sunday Rebuy despite his official 2nd place finish. The 465th-ranked online tournament player in the world worked out a 3-way chop which paid him an even $46,000.
PocketFiver da Apeof Thailand vastly improved his chances of moving into the Top 500 Worldwide Rankings thanks to an outright victory in the PartyPoker $200k Guaranteed over the weekend for $32,200.
