Tournament Review for March 9, 2015
The biggest winners over the weekend came in the PokerStarsSunday Million, with Romania’s xkosssx(pictured) leading the way by besting the 7,193-player field for $215,795. Bulgaria’s alcospicked up a huge payday in this tournament as well, taking home $115,088 for his third place finish.
Other PocketFivers on the final table of the Sunday Million include Israel’s Yoni SavyoniBenz, who earned $58,983 for fifth place; Brazil’s Allingomes, who earned $30,930 for seventh place; and Chris annouzac Annouza, who earned $17,263 for eighth place.
Other notable finishes included romdomwinning $80,234 when he beat out 2,667 players in the PokerStars Sunday Warm-Up. Poland’s staszeqand Ireland’s Daniel NukeTheFish Wilson chopped the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $66,081 and $58,229, respectfully.
Over on Full Tilt, the big winner was Finland’s Tomi das_rektumousOskari Taanila, who finished on top of the 650-player field to win $39,311 in the Sunday Major. Last week’s winner, Czech Republic’s Antonin Tudlenudle Duda, impressively won another major on Full Tilt. This time around, he won $23,375 in an outright win in the Sunday Brawl.
