The 2012 PokerStars WCOOP ran its $5,000+200 NLHE Main Event over the weekend, which attracted 1,825 entrants and resulted in a prize pool of over $9 million. Mike telks Telker (pictured), who resides in Costa Rica, came away from the event with a 7-digit payday of $1,000,584 as a result of his negotiations in a six-way final table deal (Telker finished the event officially in 4th place). Fellow PocketFiver Ryan TheCartel Carter cashed for $662,516 upon bowing out in 2nd place officially.
The WCOOP Event #63 concluded late Monday afternoon with PocketFivers taking the top three spots. jakz101poker won the tournament outright for $281,524 while PlayMaker5 finished 2nd for $205,734 and niccc earned $143,535 for 3rd place.
Norway's delegator took down the Sunday 500 outright for $98,090. In the $100 Sunday Rebuy, longtime PocketFiver therookieqq9 earned $83,409 for 1st place while KJulius10 finished 2nd for $60,628.
