On September 21, we’ll be running a special PocketFives Open for US players. This is our way of saying thank you to our US members who have stuck around after Black Friday and are anxiously awaiting regulated online poker in their state. Here’s your chance to play against other members of PocketFives in a fairly competitive and fun environment. This time around, the PocketFives Open for US players will be held on NLOP.com, which stands for National League of Poker. It’s free to play.

NLOP is adding $1,000 to the prize pool. We’ll also be adding plenty of PocketFives gear and the daily fantasy sports site FanDuel is kicking in $300 worth of tickets to its Monster and Sunday Million NFL tournaments. Here are the details:

If you want to play, sign up for NLOP if you don’t already have an account. It’s a free site and there’s no cost to play in the PocketFives Open. Then, log in and locate the link that says “Redeem Promo Code” in the upper left. Enter the code “P5OPEN1000” without the quotes. Finally, click on “Tournament Lobby” and “Featured” and you’ll see the PocketFives Open.
