When you think of Danish online poker players, Gus Hansen and Peter Eastgate probably come to mind. The former is a face of the new Full Tilt, while Eastgate earned the nickname “Icegate” because of his cool demeanor when he won the WSOP Main Event. We wanted to highlight the top 10 players in Denmark in terms of their PLB score.

10. KortKongen (4,634.41 PLB Points) – We’ll start the list with KortKongen, who is the #2 player in the historical city of Odense. His real name is Martin Pedersen and he finished second in a low-stakes SCOOP event last year for $40,000. He picked up a MicroMillions win this year for $22,000 in a $2.22 Rebuy.

9. madsmk (4,669.03 PLB Points) – His is the #3 player in Aarhus and is rapidly approaching $500,000 in tracked online tournament cashes. On May 7, he captured victory in the PokerStars Big $55 and earned $18,000.

8. MortenVM (4,734.21 PLB Points) – He was ranked as high as #63 worldwide last December and is now at #236. He is fresh off a win in the PokerStars $109 Rebuy for $18,000 and has $1.4 million in tracked winnings.

7. Gandrup (4,738.42 PLB Points, pictured) – The owner of $2.6 million in tracked cashes, this Aarhus resident has final tables this year in the Sunday Supersonic and Sunday $100 Rebuy on PokerStars for $70,000 total.

6. therealfuddebuf (4,941.43 PLB Points) – Street name: Mikael Viuff Hansen. He took third in the PokerStars $109 No Limit Hold’em Turbo Cubed 2X Chance in mid-April for $12,000. Just before that, Hansen finished third in the site’s Big $11 and earned $11,000.

5. sifosis (5,365.92 PLB Points) – One of two registered PocketFivers from Charlottenlund, he is about to pass $1.5 million in tracked scores and won the Full Tilt Nightly Fifty Grand on Tuesday for $12,000. He also claimed a Triple Crown this month after wins on William Hill, PartyPoker, and PokerStars within seven days.

4. Brink (5,372.13 PLB Points, pictured) – One of the most visible Danish players you’ll find, Brink also won the Full Tilt Nightly Fifty Grand this month and famously finished fourth in the Sunday Million in 2008 for $204,000.

3. mrvogt (5,427.84 PLB Points) – The top ranked player in Kobenhavn, mrvogt won the Full Tilt Nightly Fifty Grand right after sifosis for $11,000. He took down the PokerStars $530 Monday Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max last month and walked off with $18,000.

2. moumaife84 (6,352.58 PLB Points) – Currently ranked #55 worldwide, moumaife84 won an iPOPS event earlier this month for his largest tracked score to date of $92,000. Also this year, he won the iPoker Sunday Major and finished second in the Sunday Supersonic for over $75,000 total. Leads the #3 player in Denmark by nearly 1,000 PLB points.

1. Skrigepas (6,811.61 PLB Points) – His May has included wins in the Big $109 for $24,000 and an Ongame tournament for $24,000. He won two Triple Crowns last year and has recorded 735 tracked in the money finishes. Leads the #2 player in Denmark by 500 PLB Points.
