    TJ "1bigacehole" Ulmer won the weekly $320 tournament on Pokerstars for over $57,000 on January 28, 2009. On May 10, 2010, TJ under the FTP name darkhorse19, won their Monday $1k tournament for his biggest cash to date for over $113,000. On March 27, 2010, TJ had another impressive win by taking down the FTP Sunday Brawl for over $111,000. On January 22, 2012, TJ won the $100 Rebuy on PokerStars for over $69,000.

    In November 2012, he fell heads-up to fellow PocketFiver "fu_15" in the Full Tilt $500K and banked $72,000. Eight of the top nine finishers in that tournament were members of the PocketFives community. Hit it big in the first month of 2013 by participating in a seven-way chop of the PokerStars TCOOP Main Event. That tournament drew 5,060 players and saw Ulmer collect $232,000. In May 2013, Ulmer took third place in the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy for $40,000. Two months later, he was the runner-up in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl and collected $29,000 for his efforts.

    In June 2014, TJ took fifth in the Stars Sunday $100R for $11,000. The following March, he appeared at the final table of the Stars $100R and banked $23,000. October 2015 saw Ulmer final table the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $10,000. On the opening weekend of November 2015, Ulmer won the Full Tilt Sunday Major for $15,000, defeating a field of 787 entrants. One month later, Ulmer took second in the Sunday Supersonic for $33,000.

    In January 2016, he final tabled the 888 Super XL Main Event and earned $34,000.
