    Joao Mathias Baumgarten of Brazil had quite a bit of success at the online tournament tables in 2009, taking down the Full Tilt Poker $1k Monday for $79,500 and final-tabling the FTOPS NLHE Knockout Event #24 for $25,400. He also took down the Full Tilt $40k Guaranteed in October '09 for another $10,300. One of his largest online tournament cashes came in November '09, when he placed 4th in the PokerStars Sunday Million for $90,800.

    PocketFives Triple Crown winner for the third time in May 2011. Took home Monthly PLB honors in July 2011 with 2,313.62 Points. Four months later, he finished as the runner-up in the PartyPoker $100K High Roller tournament for $21,000.

    In February 2013, Baumgarten finished fifth in the iPoker $200K Sunday Special and brought in $10,000.
